I\u2019ve always loved fashion. We, humans, are a visual species and we react to appearances. So much is clear. But what I didn\u2019t know when I was a young girl, or even as a young woman, is that it\u2019s not just the exterior that provokes a reaction. The interior, and the way we carry ourselves, play a big part in that as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was young, I was shy and withdrawn and wanted to express myself, but didn’t know how to. Fashion gave me a way to be seen without using my voice. It was almost a kind of costume or an armor, and it helped me to be more confident. Fashion, and the way I expressed myself through it, helped grow my self-confidence. I was good at something, good at creating different & interesting looks. It influenced the way I was being perceived, and how I saw myself, and I started to believe in myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, as an adult, I appreciate fashion even more. It\u2019s ever-changing, it renews, surprises and sometimes even shocks. It can empower a person to the extent of having the confidence to take on the world! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, styling means creating a look that reflects me the best, a look I feel comfortable and confident in. I can achieve that, by choosing the right clothes for my body type and my style. It has almost become a fun game, a challenge, to put together an outfit from different pieces and finish off with a wonderful look I love!   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
